This presentation shares our journey towards supported children’s development of executive functioning skills.
Executive functioning (EF) became a focus because of what we were seeing day to day, and we knew this needed addressing but not through a behaviour lens.
Our work sits firmly within a relational, trauma‑aware approach rather than a behaviour‑management model.
The aim is to explain why EF matters, how we identified need, and what has made it work in practice.
