President Kennedy will share the relational approach to Year 6-7 Transition, and how we ensure the support and belonging for Year 7 students, so that the school can support the cohort and know their students before they arrive. This transition programme considers a range of context from personal circumstances and families, SEN need, or learning barriers and strengths. We will explore how the team structure allows for a smooth transition, ensuring that students have a sense of belonging, giving them a safe and secure foundation to their secondary experience. We will also explore the Year 7 experience and how our provision cements the transition, which is part of our relational approach.
