This session is will examine now to embed attachment-aware practice to support families of SEND children at home. This includes showing families the principles of emotion coaching as well as further support that can be given to support pupils with attachment needs beyond the school day. We will explore how to remove inclusion barriers for individuals and adopting relational practice can result change at home and at school. By including families in the attachment-aware conversation, we can enhance SEND provision, feelings of belonging and improve attendance.
